Joshua Campbell

Guest Director

Josh’s performance credits include the National Tours of “Mamma Mia!” and “Legally Blonde” as well as numerous regional theater productions including The Guthrie Theater, Papermill Playhouse, Children’s Theater Company, Jungle Theater, TUTS, and the Ordway Playhouse. His recent directing credits include “Calvin Berger” at Minneapolis Music Theater, Open Window, MN Fringe Festival, Avant Guard Theater and The Ritz Theater. 


Katie Gearty


Katie Gearty is the lead singer for Minneapolis band “Hookers and Blow” since 2009. She also performs with Minneapolis Legend Mick Sterling & Cate Fierro in the 9-piece power house soul/r&b band, The Irresistibles. Both bands perform regularly around Minnesota, and some of their favorite venues are The Dakota Jazz Club, The Narrows Saloon in Navarre and Mayslacks. Some of her accomplishments include working with Bruce Henry, The Modd Squad, Debbie Duncan, JD Steele, Christine Rosholt, Arnie Fogel, Steve Clarke & The Working Stiffs, Kurt Jorgensen, Sam Kuusisto, Larry Fountain, stepping in for bands such as Synergy, Bruce Balgaard & The Covers, The Sevilles, The Atlantis Quartet and Colleen Raye’s Girl Singers ‘The Sirens of The 60’s’ and ‘Broadways Best’ productions.

Michael Hanna


Michael Hanna is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program. This is his third collaboration with Collide (Le Petit Moulin, Class of ’85, Dracula). Recent credits include: This Bitter Earth (World Premiere, New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco), Le Switch (The Jungle Theater), The Lion in Winter and Sense and Sensibility (The Guthrie Theater), Romeo and Juliet (Park Square Theatre), Citizen (Frank Theatre) and Bad Jews (MN Jewish Theatre). Upcoming projects include: DOT at Park Square Theatre and a benefit reading of Le Switch for New York’s LGBT Center.


Doug Rohde

Music Director

Doug is back for his fifth Collide production including Class of ’85, C. L. U., the original Dracula, and Le Petit Moulin).  Doug also works regularly as a jazz and collaborative pianist, and teaches piano and improvisation at Center For Performing Arts in south Minneapolis.

David Sellner 


Dave Sellner has performed and recorded songs that span a wide range of musical genres, some of which have charted on Billboard. As an eclectic musician he has played in pop, rock, hip-hop, electronica and jazz fusion bands.  In addition to playing with bands, he has performed in several musicals, including two previous runs with COLLIDE (Dracula, Le Petit Moulin), enjoys finding a good groove, and staying in the pocket.

Matt Vanelli 


Matt has performed and toured extensively both in the U.S. and internationally, with appearances that have included Later with Jools Holland in the UK, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, and the First Avenue Mainroom. His guitar work appeared on an Emmy award winning song that also reached #1 on the iTunes charts. Matt’s musical theater experience includes ensembles for Rent, Hair, as well as several Collide productions.

Shannon Van Der Reck 


Hailing from a lineage of avant-garde, musical theater and contemporary classical performance, Shannon is a life long, multi-instrumental percussionist and bassist for a variety of pop music groups, orchestras and dance theater pit bands. A native Californian, she has most notably performed with the La Jolla Symphony, Minneapolis Children’s Theater, The Old Log, Collide Theatrical and is a co-founder of the minimalist chamber ensemble Skeleton Crew.
