INTERMEDIATE MUSICAL THEATER JAZZ INTENSIVE
Session 1: June 19-23, 2017 at The Ritz Theater
Session 2: July 31-Aug 4 at The Cowles Center
Looking to improve your performance or physical technique? Take risks outside your current studio environment? Get a step ahead this summer? This week long workshop will allow dancers to experiment with a variety of dance styles, train with numerous esteemed instructors and master musical theater choreography in repertoire class. The week will culminate with a performance for family and friends on the last Friday of each session.
Daily Schedule Sample:
- 9:30-11:00am Dance Technique (Ballet & Jazz)
- 11:00-12:30 Specialty Class (Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary)
- 12:30-1:00 Lunch
- 1:00-2:30 Repertoire
- 2:30-3:30 Master Class (Acting, Voice, Auditioning, Film Acting)

*TWO LEVELS!-Students will be evaluated at the first class and split into Two Levels (Beg/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced) for Technique and Repertoire Classes. Smaller Class Size equals more individual attention!
*MOCK AUDITION!- Ever wanted to audition for a Broadway show? Students will have the chance to go through the same “steps” as you would in New York…but in a zero pressure environment. Soak in feedback from guest judges and make your first professional audition experience a positive one!
