Apprentice Program
September 2023-May 2024

Collide Theatrical’s Apprentice Program is a professional training and rehearsal program for advanced professional-track dancers. The program provides the necessary skills for dancers to pursue formal positions within the Collide Company and in the world of theater dance.

 

This is a ​9-month training program with 3 trimesters (Sept–November, December–February, March–May). Interested dancers must sign up for a minimum of 3 months, or 1 trimester. Those who commit to the entire 9-month program will receive discounted monthly tuition and a chance to perform in a culminating showcase performance at the end of the program.

Selected Apprentice dancers will take technique class with the Company 3 days a week. The technical classes include a variety of styles rooted in ballet and jazz, but might also include tap, acting for dance, hip-hop, and more. Apprentice dancers will also have an opportunity to participate in master classes with Broadway touring dance captains and industry professionals. 

This is a tuition-based program. Enrollment is competitive and audition based. Video submissions accepted. Applicants must be 18 or older.
