After 15 years working and training as a performing artist in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, Regina relocated to her hometown of Minneapolis-St. Paul in 2012 and founded COLLIDE in 2013.  She has choreographed/directed/written COLLIDE’s productions of “Lot of Living to Do”, “The Belmont Hotel”, “Romeo & Juliet”“Class of ’85” ,”Zoot Suit Riots”, “C.L.U.”, “Dracula” and “Le Petit Moulin”.  Other credits include: “In Algeria They Know My Name”- Mixed Blood Theater, “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” , “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” and “The Wedding Singer”  at The Old Log Theater, “This Side of Paradise”, “Coco’s Diary” (Choreographer/Asst. Director)“Capital Crimes: A Gangster Musical” (Choreographer-Pre-show Performance),  and “River Road Boogie” at The History Theater,  “Bridge to Terabithia” (Choreographer/Asst Director) and “Duck for President”  at Stages Theater Company. She has also choreographed and directed for numerous high school and community theaters in the Twin Cities.  

While living in New York and Los Angeles, Regina studied under Broadway’s most notable choreographers and dance instructors, including Joshua Bergasse (Choreographer of NBC’s “Smash”), Andy Blakenbuehler (Tony Award winning choreographer “Hamilton” and “In the Heights”), Joey McKneely (Broadway’s Revival of “West Side Story”), and David Marquez (Broadway’s “Tom Sawyer”). Regina complements her choreography and dance experience with drama training from renowned New York and Los Angeles acting teachers such as Larry Moss, Kerrie Keane, and Louis Scheeder. Regina has also trained at some of the world’s most honored performing arts institutions. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from The Boston Conservatory, where she studied Musical Theater and Dance and holds a performing arts certificate from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.

 Regina’s professional performance credits include the original cast of the Off-Broadway Show “The Awesome 80’s Prom”, a series regular on New York Emmy Award-winning children’s television show “Ditty-Doodle Works”, various regional theater productions including performances at Minneapolis’ Guthrie Theater and Los Angeles’ Odyssey Theater.  Regina also has traveled across the country judging national dance competitions for Starquest and Nexstar. She was named “Best Minneapolis Choreographer- 2013” by and nominated for a SAGE Award for COLLIDE’s production of “The Belmont Hotel“.  Regina is a proud  member of AEA, SAG, AFTRA and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Union. 

This season Regina will be choreographing, co-directing and performing in COLLIDE’s remount of “Dracula” at The Ritz Theater. In addition she will be creating a new Halloween Show for the Mall of America, and co-creating COLLIDE’s joint production with The History Theatre, “Dance ‘Till You Drop”. When she is not dancing about she spends her time chasing her two little ones, Philamena (2) and Branning (10 months) with a lot of help from her amazing husband Jason.
