C.L.U.E.: A Murder Mystery Dance Performance

February 16–March 10, 2024

1420 Washington Ave S  |  Minneapolis, MN 55454

Welcome to the Bottie Mansion, where murder and blackmail are on the menu for this evening's dinner party. Was it the butler...in the bedroom...with the knife? Or perhaps the maid...in the parlor…with the candlestick holder?

Get ready as Collide brings its unique blend of dance theater to a murder mystery. Only this time...YOU (the audience) get to choose the ending!

Who will it be? Where? With what weapon? The verdict is in your hands.

Your Questions Answered

IS THE COLLIDE VERSION THE SAME AS THE PLAY?

Nope! The movie and the play are set in the 1950s, and our production is set TODAY! We tell 90% of the story through dance and popular music with the help of a narrator leading the way.

HOW IS THE SHOW SIMILAR TO THE BOARD GAME?

It is a parody of the classic board game! Mr. Bottie hosts a dinner party and invites an eclectic group including Rose (The Hollywood Starlet), Mr. Green (The Politician), Giselle (The Maid), Codsworth (The Butler), and Ms. Spyder (The Widow). During the evening, a series of crimes are committed as surprise guests make an appearance. It is then up to the audience to choose the criminal.

HOW DOES THE AUDIENCE CHOOSE THE ENDING?

Everyone will get a QR code at the beginning of the show to enter their vote. If you prefer not to use your phone (or do not have one), we will give you a written detective sheet to turn in during intermission. The results of your vote will then be announced and played out live on the stage.

IS THIS SHOW FAMILY-FRIENDLY?

It is up to parental discretion as you know your children best! There are themes of crime and murder but they are played out comedically with little violence.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DOES IT FEATURE?

It is an eclectic mix featuring artists such as Elvis, Green Day, The Chicks, Fiona Apple, and more. View our Spotify Playlist here.
